Assistant General Manager

Role Overview

As Assistant General Manager you will work directly with ownership in all aspects of operating a top-tier golf simulator facility in the Shakopee community by combining a love of food and hospitality management with a passion for golf.

Essential Tasks

Kitchen Management

  • Manage prep and planning for daily and weekly food and beverage use

  • Support ownership in food and beverage orders, intake, and portion breakouts

  • Oversee and manage processes to keep the kitchen and bar areas clean and to code

Customer Service

  • Set the standard and uphold the utmost priority for customer service

  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

  • Escalation point for customer concerns, issues, and complaints

  • Support coordination of customer events (ex. leagues)

Operational Management

  • Manage cooks, bartenders, servers, and overall customer service staffing

  • Support ownership in recruiting, hiring, and training processes

  • Help ownership build standard practices for customer service and overall food and beverage operations

  • Run reports in POS (Uschedule) to support P&L, revenue and income statement creation

  • Support ownership in managing the Uschedule POS system (updates to menu, schedule, rates, etc...)

Qualifications

  • Management experience in a sports bar, entertainment, or hospitality-related industry

  • 21+ years of age, required to manage Alcohol Service

  • ServSafe food certification is a plus

  • Have or able to complete Minnesota Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training

  • A passion for golf
