Welcome to The Golf Garage. We’re an independent, Shakopee-owned and operated indoor golf simulator facility where a passion for golf and community come together in perfect harmony. At The Golf Garage, we don't just offer a place to practice your swing; we provide an immersive experience that fosters connections and camaraderie among players of all skill levels.

Our Facility

The Golf Garage features eight indoor golf simulator bays able to comfortably accommodate four players each. We run 4K projectors and Foresight GC Hawk launch monitors in each bay. Customers may choose from gameplay powered by either FSX Play or GS Pro, and can tune in to their favorite sports programming from our in-bay televisions while they play. In addition to golf, we offer draft and bottled beer, specialty beverages, house-made gourmet pizzas, boneless wings, and pub snacks in both our golf and dining areas. View our menu.

Our Owners

In the summer of 2023, Shakopee residents Josh and Kim Negaard decided to combine their passions for innovation, golf, and community, and bring indoor golf to Shakopee. Josh, formerly a software product manager, brought his love of golf, technical expertise, and strategic vision to the venture. Meanwhile, Kim, an accomplished entrepreneur and designer, added her creative flair and business acumen to the mix. Together, they decided to leave their past careers behind to pursue a shared dream of creating a unique space where locals could gather and enjoy the game they love.
